Our Wine Tube Map taste sensations allow you to travel a section of our WineTubeMap sampling food and wine combinations at each station. This is not your normal wine tasting. Instead you get to navigate and explore a selection of wines in a relaxed and informal way, as you chat, sniff, swirl and swallow!

Each station on the tube map has a pair of wines which will be matched to a mini meal – a bite size sample of the kind of food that works well with the wines, in the past we’ve had a mini roast lamb, gravy and mash, mini fish and chips and mini tortellini. You’ll be amazed at how much of a difference having the food makes to the experience, not least because you don’t get hungry!

Our festival special Thirsty Thursday will bring some festival madness to the wine selections, Each pair of wines will have a ‘festival theme’ which means we’ll be tasting the sophisticated classics inspired by the International Festival against some wildcards inspired by the Fringe. We’ll be creating some equally fuzion-esque food to set the wine off.

Thirsty Thursday’s are held at the cute but perfectly formed Bon Vivant’s Companion in the heart of Edinburgh. Open 10 – 10 and replete with everything you could possibly wish to drink from craft beers, spirits to make every cocktail shaker happy and a great selection of wines.
