Platform 1

All aboard!

We are so excited to be launching Platform 1, our first live installation of the Winetubemap! Our stationmasters are the fabulous team at Vino Wines in Comiston Road, just along from Morningside station. They have very safe hands, and a whistle.

This is a sneak preview of the setup, the official launch is Saturday where we’ll be opening some bottles to celebrate and hope you can join us.

Wherever you are on your wine journey the Winetubemap will help you explore the shelves with more confidence:

STAY LOCAL Find your favourite wines on the Winetubemap and start to cruise the stations nearby.

TRAVEL FURTHER Identify a line that has a few of your preferred wines on and pick out the coloured shelf markers to find other similar wines.

EXPLORE If you’re feeling adventurous try something far flung! Head to a line with wines you don’t normally drink.

SURPRISE someone special by giving them a bottle from the station next to their favourite as a gift.

Each wine in the shop will be linked back to the map so you can see where it fits and start to get your bearings, before you know it you’ll be on a rover ticket!

The next train to leave from Platform 1 will be at 5pm on Saturday. Please come along to join us for an informal tasting between 5pm and 7pm.
