To extend the Fringe spirit for another few days we’ve created a fringe-like fusion of wine, food and events, overlaying fringe shows onto the Winetubemap. Put it in the diary, Thursday 30th August.
We asked ourselves questions like… which wine matches best with stand up comedy? What would you pair street acts with? Is cabaret the hub of many genres? Are musicals red, white, rosé or fizz?
Then we answered them (over a glass of something fun of course).
All we can say is it is going to be interesting.
Like many shows, audience participation obligatory, you will need to drink wine and eat food whilst generally having a very sociable time easing yourself out of Fringe season.
The tasting runs from 7pm until 9pm at the Bon Vivant’s Companion, a gem of a wineshop nestled in cobbled streets of the New Town.
Buy tickets here, they are £25, for that you get 14 wines, all matched to our bite sized mini meals. We won’t charge you for laughter!
